COULD YOU EXPLAIN ECCLESIASTES 2:26?

For to the man who pleases him God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner he gives the work of gathering and heaping, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 RSV

  1. Vanity upon vanity. Earthly things reside and perish with the earth even the adorned and the adored worldly things. It’s so pathetic for those who do all these things. I just wonder how long they will stroll the earth. Let’s just pray for God to bless us. If it is God’s blessings, it doesn’t give the fear that it will finish that makes the wealth bearer wear and tear that also makes them not to reside God’s word in their heart.

Because God has used King Solomon to tell us what befalls all these keeping up with the world. Love not the world because the world doesn’t not love itself.

    1. Well said.
Ecclesiastes is a very important book, along with Proverbs, two of my favorites. The inspired Word of God is appropriately a true inspiration to those of us who follow Jesus and work every hour to be the best Christians we can be in this world, so full of darkness. God bless you, sir. Thank you for reading! ElGardner
