THE GOLDEN RATIO – GOD’S DEVINE DESIGN

The Golden Ratio, or Divine Proportion, came from the source of all immaculate design in our Universe, God, the Creator!

The very cross that our Lord died on adheres to the Golden Ratio. Who else but God can Create Spiral Galaxies?

THE MARVEL OF GOD’S CREATION

And God said, “Let the earth put forth vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, upon the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.
Genesis 1:11‭-‬13

THE DANGER OF JUDGING OTHERS – PART 2

One who judges others is compared to a person presuming to cast a splinter out of his brother’s eye while a plank is in his own eye! This is a vivid picture of a person who ignores his own grievous sins while trying to correct the relatively minor shortcomings of another.

THE DANGER OF JUDGING OTHERS – PART 1

Judging the conduct of other Christians is a subject of such universal concern within the church that the collateral scriptures applicable to this question should be remembered here.

A BEAUTIFUL SONG OF THANKSGIVING + THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL

The opening phrase, in that day, identifies what follows with the redemption of the remnant. This is the blessing of the redeemed; sin has been forgiven, and Jehovah is recognized and praised as the source of salvation.

PEACE AND COMFORT IN TIMES OF ADVERSITY

The reaction of the child of God, or his or her response, to adversity, and the trials of mortal life must be one of patience, submission, humility, prayer, love, hope, and faith.

THE TEMPLE IN HEAVEN + THE SUPERIORITY OF OUR HIGH PRIEST

It is our conviction that such language is used by the Holy Spirit in order to bring down to the level of human comprehension those heavenly realities which are not capable of any complete finite understanding, and that the eloquent words used in the sacred text are accommodated to man’s weakness and limitations, and that the marvelous realities thus described are fantastically beyond the total human knowledge of them, the very power and ability of language itself, as a means of communication, being helpless to transmit anything more than a typical or suggestive outline of the things that are in the heavens.

THE NEW AND BETTER COVENANT – Part 2

This ten commandments covenant, the first and old covenant, is the one in view by the author of Hebrews is evident and becomes certain in the light of his mention of “the tables of the covenant” being placed within the ark of the covenant (Hebrews 9:4).

THE NEW AND BETTER COVENANT – Part 1

In Hebrews 8:6-7, this “new covenant” is contrasted with what is called “the first covenant,” or “the old covenant,” indicating that the new covenant would replace not merely those lesser covenants, but it would take the place of that covenant which was so great and comprehensive, overshadowing all others, that God called it the “first covenant.”

“SAUL, SAUL, WHY DO YOU PERSECUTE ME?”

In Acts 9:4 appears one of the profoundest doctrines of Christianity, namely, that Christ is still upon earth in the person of his followers who compose his spiritual body; and that whatever is done to Christ’s church is done to himself!

THE PARADOX OF PERFECTION

At the outset, every candid student of the Holy Scriptures should admit and understand that there is not the slightest possibility of his ever graduating from this school, “Magna cum Laude”!

THE PROPHECIES OF ISAIAH IN THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST

the subject matter as recorded in all four of the gospels which Jesus Christ discussed during this chronological period dealt very systematically and almost exclusively with the subject matter of Isaiah 40-66.
