This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118

What a glorious day is the Day of Redemption in Christ Jesus!

It was the day when Christ was born, and heaven itself broke into songs of praise and rejoicing.

It was the day when an angel of God said, “HE IS NOT HERE; HE IS RISEN”!

Psalms 118

This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalms 118:23-24 RSV

I am thankful for waking up today.

For now, God has kept me on His morning wake-up list. I don’t know what the future holds.

I will soon learn if I need heart surgery, again.

Whatever comes my way, I am confident that it is God’s Will.

I know that I was baptized into Christ.

I do not fear death because our Lord and Savior rose from the dead.

Matthew 28:5-10 RSV
[5] But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. [6] He is not here; for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. [7]  Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. Lo, I have told you.” [8] So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. [9]  And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Hail!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. [10] Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”
