THE GREAT COMMISSION

This Great Commission, as the saints of all ages have consented to call it, constitutes the marching orders of his church for a day and to all eternity. It is a whole galaxy studded with many of the biggest stars in the firmament of Christian doctrine.

BEHOLD! The Virgin Shall Conceive And Bear a SON

And Jehovah spake again unto Ahaz, saying, Ask thee a sign of Jehovah thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. But Ahaz said, I … Continue reading BEHOLD! The Virgin Shall Conceive And Bear a SON

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC IN THE WORSHIP OF GOD Part 1

God’s command for Christians is that they should sing, and if playing instruments of music is an acceptable part of divine worship, it is difficult to understand why it would not have been so stated in this place.

The Necessity For The Virgin Birth – “She was delivered of a MAN-CHILD.”

God entered the ranks of humanity, became a man in the person of his son Jesus Christ, and paid the penalty for human sin, laying upon himself in the person of his Son the iniquity of us all.

In the Christian religion, God Himself pays the penalty of redemption.

The Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ

The Virgin Birth is a prominent and essential teaching of the Christian religion.

To give up the doctrine of virgin birth is to sacrifice the integrity of the gospel authors, the convictions of the apostolic church, and the entire premise of supernatural religion as revealed in the Holy Bible.

In The BEGINNING Was The WORD

From this opening word to the end of the Gospel, there is not the slightest deviation from the sacred author’s intention of presenting Jesus Christ as God come in the flesh for the purpose of human redemption, and to whom every person owes the uttermost worship and devotion.

And The Word Became Flesh

They greatly err who suppose that John differed from the synoptics regarding the virgin birth of our Lord, for it is in this verse recorded that the Word who was God did in fact become flesh, and that he was “the only begotten” of the Father!

The “Good” Confession

So every one who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven;

but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 10:32‭-‬33

THE TEN EPIPHANIES OF JESUS AFTER HIS RESURRECTION

The first five of those appearances occurred on the day of his resurrection, and the other five later, during the interval before his ascension.

IS A SUCCESSOR TO PETER IS SCRIPTURAL?

Peter knew that he would have no legitimate successor and indicated it in 2 Peter 1:13-15 where he WROTE the word of God in order for it to be available, as he said, “after my decease”! If a successor had been contemplated, that would have been unnecessary.

THE PRE-EMINENCE OF PETER

This promise, emphatically delivered to Peter here, was also the property of the Twelve and not Peter’s exclusively. All of the apostles, not merely Peter alone, were included in this promise. Matthew 16 & 18

The CHARGES Against Our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST

Having determined that Jesus was not the type of Messiah they wanted, the priestly leaders of the people exhausted their resources of cunning and deceit in an all-out campaign to convince the people that Jesus was not the Christ. Luke 9 – Matthew 16

THE MAGNIFICAT: The Virgin’s Hymn

The account here was written by a brilliant physician, scientist and literary genius, following years of patient and thorough research, and who had the incomparable opportunity of examining all of the sources, written and oral, that had any bearing on the events narrated.

WHAT’S IN THE NAME JEHOVAH?

The sacred Hebrew Tetragrammaton, the mystic four-letter word used of the Deity, is composed of the four Hebrew consonants Y-H-W-H, usually translated “JEHOVAH” in the American Standard Version (Exodus 17:15). The true and original pronunciation of it has been totally and completely lost.

CAN WE BELIEVE UNTO SALVATION?

The widely-received, illogical SALVATION-BY-FAITH-ONLY contradiction of the word of God should not be permitted to deceive anyone. As the author of this epistle said, “Let God be true, but every man a liar” (Romans 3:4).

FORGIVENESS FOR THE RIGHTEOUS REMNANT

The great hallmark of the New Covenant lies in the promise of God to forgive the sins of his people, a promise that simply did not pertain to the old covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-35); and, therefore, in Micah 7, we have a certain indication that the passage is Messianic.

JESUS CHRIST AND EVANGELISM

Jesus has already won the war, it’s over, and every man and woman should repent, and be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Christ will return!

The Judgment Day will arrive!

Get right with God.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.
Mark 16:16 RSV
