The punctuation of the Holy Bible is the work of men, not of God; and where punctuation can be made to harmonize or explain difficult passages, it should be utilized for that purpose.
Christ himself honored God’s ordained institution, the state, ordered the payment of taxes to Caesar (Matthew 22:21), declared that the authority of the procurator, Pontius Pilate, was given to him “from above” (John 19:11)
Not only in John 14:3, but in Acts 1:11; 3:21; 2 Thessalonians 4:13-17, etc., the doctrine of the second coming of Christ is emphatically taught, the same being one of the foundational teachings of Christianity.
It is our unwavering conviction that all of the prophecy in our version which is ascribed to Isaiah was indeed written by him, the fact being that no one except Isaiah could possibly have written a line of it. Why do we believe this?
We learn from 1 Thessalonians 5:8; Ephesians 6:11-16, that Paul’s weapons were the energies of spiritual powers given by the Eternal Spirit.
God desires the love of his children; and true love requires that there be freedom of the will and opportunity to make a choice.
