God’s giving people up was not capricious, but founded upon the righteous premise that such conduct deserved the adverse judgment it received.

God so “loved the world” that he gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16), but “world” here has a different meaning. It is an inclusive term for all those who are in the kingdom of darkness and have not been born of God.
