NOAH’S ARK AND THE GREAT FLOOD – Genesis 6

The Great Flood attested both by the Word of God and evidence from the natural world in which we live.

In addition, every culture, from every continent, has historical records of a great floor happening in ancient times.

WERE THE “SONS OF GOD” ANGELS? – Genesis 6

There are only two classes of Angels, the Holy Angels, and the Angels Of Satan (Fallen Angels)

IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD – John 1

The eternal existence of the Lord Jesus Christ and his absolute identification with God and as God are unequivocally stated in the first line of this gospel; and this may be considered the theme of the whole Gospel, every word and every event of the entire narrative having been skillfully chosen by the narrator for the purpose of proving the Godhead of Jesus Christ and of persuading people to believe in him.

THE MEANING OF JACOB’S LADDER – Genesis 28

The ladder is also a type of the Lord Jesus Christ. The ladder was “the way” between earth and heaven; and Christ affirmed that he is indeed “The Way” (John 14:6); and, as Jacob saw the angels of God ascending and descending upon that ladder, Jesus affirmed to Nathaniel that he would “see angels ascending and descending upon the Son of Man” (John 1:51).

THE SEVEN-FOLD PROMISE TO ABRAHAM – Genesis 15

The promise, it will be remembered (Genesis 12:1ff), envisioned a great posterity for Abraham; but many years passed during which he had no son. Passing over the incident involving Hagar, Abraham waited patiently for that which, according to all human reckoning, was impossible.

Creation | Science | Jesus Christ – John 1

For in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him; and he is before all things, and in him all things consist (Colossians 1:16-17).

THE FIRST INNOVATOR – THE GREAT SIN OF CAIN

The great sin of Cain was simply this – he offered to God what he supposed would be just as good as what God commanded.

He was the first innovator.
