ADVERSITY IS THE NEW PROSPERITY – CHRISTIAN SUFFERING – Romans 8

It has been proved again and again by Christians that:

PROSPERITY is the blessing of the Old Testament.

ADVERSITY is the blessing of the New.

IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO IS AGAINST US?! – Psalms 46

This psalm is both historical and prophetic. It refers to things that happened in Israel; and it is a prophecy concerning the New Testament Church.

LET US NOT SLEEP – LET US KEEP AWAKE AND BE SOBER – 1 Thessalonians 5

Darkness is used here as antithetical to light, and very similarly to the writings of John; these passages refer not to literal darkness and light, but to the state of rebellion against God (darkness) and to the state of obedience (light).

WORK, LABOR AND PATIENCE – FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE – 1 Thessalonians 1

These six graces:
WORK
LABOR
PATIENCE
FAITH
HOPE
LOVE
properly united in the hearts of people, and thus conjoined will regenerate the human race!

THE HOLY SPIRIT HELPS US WITH GROANINGS WHICH CAN NOT BE SPOKEN – Romans 8:26

There are two intercessors for the Christian: (1) Christ at the right hand of the Majesty on High. (Hebrews 7:25) (2) The Holy Spirit within the Christian himself.

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR BURDENS – Galatians 6

Every man or woman, rich or poor, old or young, wise or foolish, weak or strong, has some burden to bear.

IF WE LIVE BY THE SPIRIT, LET US ALSO WALK BY THE SPIRIT – Galatians 5

These are descriptions of ONE CONDITION, the saved condition; and there is no stretch of philosophical doodling that can find one iota’s difference in the true meaning of the above descriptions of the state of enjoying the salvation of God through Jesus Christ.
