Our favorite agrarians from summer and autumn are back once again to tackle the icy chills of winter.
Christ bore our sins in his own body on the tree, thus accomplishing what no typical lamb ever achieved.
We are “in Christ,” having believed in him and having been baptized into the “one body,” Christ’s spiritual body. As a result of Christ’s redemptive work, we enjoy eternal life (presently, in the joys of Christian service, and ultimately, throughout all eternity).
Such is the darkness of the epic tragedy of mankind, lost in sin, without God, and without hope in the world, until they shall turn to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Glory to God in the highest is the so-called “Gloria in Excelsis Deo,” another of the famous Latin hymns of Christendom.
